Heavy fight continues near Ras Lanuf in Libya. I left the area yesterday and now in Cairo on my way back to Mumbai. I was planing to stay there a few more days but somewhat getting gridlocked situation in Libya and a big earthquake in Miyagi, Japan, which is my hometown, made me leave Libya urgently.

I am a bit relieved now after finding out my family are OK although the property is mess. I am going back to Mumbai tonight at least for a day or two. I feel I should go to Japan straight from here but my injured leg considerably getting worse (I stupidly fell on rocks while running-and-shooting in Libya and broke my lens as well) and I can’t push too much.

Will see how things turn around next couple of days….
