Indian Buddhist monk gather at Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur, Indai, on Oct 14, 15, 2010 for annual celebration of Dr. Ambedkar's conversion to Buddhism from Hinduism. Dr. Ambedkar, an anti-caste activist who was the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, converted to Buddhism in Nagpur along with 380,000 of his followers on October 14, 1956. Tens of thousands Buddhist pilgrims visit Nagpur during the week of celebration.
