Liberian refugees unload their belongings from a truck in Monrovia, Liberia on April 30, 2008 after being forcibly repatriated from refugee camps in Ghana. Liberia's 14-year civil war, which ended in 2003, left over 270,000 dead and 850,000 displaced both internally and in nearby countries, such as Ghana. Many refugees are reluctant to return home while Liberia struggles to rebuild its economy.
